UPDATE: Astronomy in the Park is cancelled due to clouds and possible thunderstorms.
Astronomy in the Park is tonight. Currently we have no plans to cancel, but it does look like it might be cloudy. This is what summer in Charleston like, more often than not. We are at Brittlebank Park most Wednesdays beginning around sunset, so come see us sometime!
For more events info, please see our calendar to the right, or our Facebook page.
We also have our monthly meeting, where member James Ross will give a presentation on viewing and tracking satellites and small objects. Our meeting will be Thursday, June 6th at 7pm, at Atlantic Aviation, 6060 S Aviation Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406. This may be a better representation of our meeting location.
Finally on Saturday night, we will be partnering with Hampton Plantation Historic Site for a night of stargazing, weather permitting of course. For more information on this event, please see Hampton Plantation's website or their Facebook Event page.
