I know we're still more than four months away from the August 21st total solar eclipse, but there's lots to understand if you've never really thought about why it happens.
Our membership meeting is tomorrow night, and we hope to finalize the club's eclipse plans then. We will probably be set up at two or three locations around the lowcountry for people to join us to view the eclipse. But, if you can't make it one of our locations, or any other group's events, you can safely view it from your location, with a pair of eclipse glasses get a pair in case they're all sold out! We'll do a future post on other creative ways to view the eclipse in the coming months.
